Details | New assessments: Students were required to use the publisher's materials on their website for studying and self-assessment at wileyplus.com Refined outcomes: Students were required to use the publisher's materials to aid in studying for exams and for chapter reinforcement. Those who participated realized an improved learning outcome. Added services: Tutors were available outside of classroom hourse for test preparation. Modified Activities: A business plan/research project was added in addition to three multiple choice examinations. |

Planned Improvements | I plan to offer additional tutoring times and hours, and not just before examinations, but throughout the semester. I plan to hold a business plan workshop to brief students on the steps to write a successful business plan. |

Details | I will review data from WileyPlus which shows time spent on the learning site and scoring as well. I will compare the data to actual test scores. I will add an additional group project for more in-class discussion and to enhance critical thinking. I will continue to contextualize material presented in the textbook with current news events. |
Highlights | Eight of my students were accepted to UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business for the Fall 2014 semester -- this represents almost 9 percent of the incoming transfer students accepted. The Alpha Beta Gamma and Kiva Microfinance clubs are thriving. Students are realizing the value of online assessment and learning. |
