Data SummaryOver 70% of the students stated that they are able to make healthier food choices.
Analysis SummaryBased on the findings of the FY 2012-2013 annual nutrition survey of the Department of Adult and Aging Services (DAAS), a majority of the seniors who took our classes found the course materials very useful in helping them maintain/improve their health.
Next Steps PlannedDuring the Fall 2013 semester we will address the nutrition education topics listed under question 9 of the DAAS report. (A copy of the report is available in the SLO Assessment binder in the department office.)
