Assessment Description | For the lecture portion of this course, the students complete 4 multiple choice, matching and short answer exams which includes the final exam. For the lab portion the students complete competencies such as taking panoramic, occlusal, disto-oblique and pediatric radioraphs on a mannekin. The students also have to complete patient requirements as outlined by our accreditation agency, Commission on Dental Accreditation. The patient requirement consists of four full-mouth radiographs, two bitewing radiographs and 1 panoramic radiograph on an adult patient. |

More Details | Analysis outcome data from Spring 2013 which includes the number of students completing the radiographic patient requirements. The grade point average of each rubric assessment for the competencies. The percentage of students needing assistance on radiographic procedures as well as the procedure needing the most assistance. |
