Data Analysis
Data Shared With | - Instructors of the same course (at CCSF)
- Faculty and staff within our department
|
---|
Data Sharing Methods | Face-to-face meetings |
---|
Data Summary | We found that the SLO was impractical to measure. Out of the 20 students is seemed that 60% were not using ver y much trite language in their final poems. However, we realized it was better to measure what they were doing rather than what they weren't doing. |
---|
Analysis Summary | 60% percent of student poetry analyzed seem to use minimal trite language. |
---|
Next Steps Planned | We decided that the outline for this course needed to be revised extensively as a result of our assessment experience. All the SLOs were revised to focus on measurable outcomes. We also revised content, teaching methodology and literature for this course. |
