Data Analysis

Data Shared With

Instructors of the same course (at CCSF)

Data Sharing Methods
  • Face-to-face meetings
  • Email
  • Shared document files
Data SummaryWe found that students did better on basic geology questions and less well on questions relating to resource consumption. Results were fairly consistent between the two instructors.
Analysis SummaryWe felt that achievement higher than 75% indicated mastery of the course SLOs.
Next Steps PlannedWe decided to focus more on the resource-related issues and to distribute the geology throughout the course and teach it as needed rather than front-loaded.
