Data SummaryOf the students who completed the assignments, five assignments had an average score less than 80 (out of 16 assignments). The overall final exam score was 56%. Three of the student who took the final exam had stopped doing assignments for several weeks and had very low final exam scores.
Analysis SummaryAssignment scores were high for student who did the assignments, but this class had a higher percentage than normal of people who were enrolled and who took the final exam but did not turn in assignments. This class is very assignment driven. On the final exam, students had to determine from the task description which of the topics covered during the semester was appropriate for solving the task. The scores of the final exam queries averaged closer to 50%. The final exam is a paper and pencil exam which is more difficult for students to work out the logic.
