Tentative Future Plans

TermSpring 2014
Activities
  • Revision of outcomes and assessment methods (measurements)
  • Implementation of planned changes and reassessment
More DetailsI plan to change:

- the method of assessment to be based on a quantified, practical examination of technical camera or audio recording skills.

I plan to implement a more formal lecture and training process in the classroom though this does present a big challenge as our class focuses on creating a "product" of 3 x 30min television shows - in itself a intense learning effort.

Initial assessments showed that only 21% of the (19) students were able to satisfy the SLO question at the beginning, whereas 92 of the remaining (13) students gave satisfactory answers at the end of the semester demonstrating their progress.
