Assessment DescriptionStudents were assessed in the following ways:

1. Specific homework assignments were assigned to address each of the slo's.

2. Students completed a final case study project that was assessed using a rubric

3. At the end of the semester, students were asked to rate whether they felt they had learned a sufficient amount to satisfy the slo.

4. A post-course student satisfaction survey was completed by the students electronically.

More DetailsThe methods of assessment will be reduced down to 2. The student self-reflection piece and satisfaction survey will be eliminated. The final project has been eliminated in favor of multiple writing exercises specifically focused on slos's and critical thinking skills.
