Data SummaryIdentified a few specific questions from the four exams that students needed more clarity.

Guest speaker reflections on breastfeeding and eating disorders, and web-based training modules (with accompanying writing assignments/discussion prompts that link to SLOs) evaluated by rubric.
Analysis SummaryGrades on the exams higher than 80% indicate outcome achievement.

Through the writing assignments, students were able to demonstrate their writing skills, application of content knowledge, and the ability to self-assess/evaluate/critique. A majority of the students scored 80% or higher, indicating outcome achievement.
Next Steps PlannedIdentified a few questions from the in-class exams that were not properly worded, open for misinterpretation, or misleading - made revisions as they were discovered for use next time class is offered (Spring 2014).

Used Insight to make this course tech-enhanced. SLOs are listed at the top of each learning unit block, and course content, grading/feedback is organized and accessible throughout the course.

Course outline was last revised in Nov 2008. For next revision of course outline (Fall 2013), need to streamline course SLO's into overarching outcomes. Currently there are 16 listed, many are overlapping or too specific - need to condense to 5-7 SLOs.
