Assessment Description	Aside from an exit survey, we monitored the student's progress in producing two news stories for publication as a measurement in meeting course SLOs.

Data Summary	The exit survey included questions tied to the course SLOs. The survey showed that 85% of the students clearly understood the fundamental principals and practices of a journalist.
Analysis Summary	When it came to producing two news stories for publication at the end of the semester, a significant majority of the students earned 80 points or better on each 100-point assignment. This was a primary SLO goal that was achieved.
