Assessment Description | Capstone Projects: 1. Design a three story residence in the Hayes Valley area of San Francisco for four adults and one child. The design should be a minimum of 2100 square feet using the Revit Architecture program. 2.Design an office building core and shell with a minimum of three floors on a specified lot adjacent to Van Ness and Market Street in San Francisco. Include a lobby, elevators, exit stairs and outside skin and structure. In addition, space plan a new advertizing tenant on one full floor. |

Data Summary | The majority of students were able to complete the "capstone" projects. Appropriately 85% completed the projects. |
Analysis Summary | The Learning Portfolios surveyed the students and asked: "What Revit model commands were most useful" "What Revit commands were difficult of confusing." 85% of the students answered these questions demonstrating the ability to use the Revit Architecture software to create and modify a Revit model. |
