Details | In Spring 2014 WKEX 805, 806, and 807 were consolidated into one new course (WKEX 777) that will be offered for the first time in Fall 2014. The new On-Campus Work Experience course outline addresses the course repeatability rules recently adopted at the state level. |

Data Summary | 100% of WKEX 805, 806, 807 students surveyed agreed that participating in a Work Experience class in Spring 2014 was a worthwhile experience for them. 71% of the WKEX 805, 806, 807 students surveyed believed that they benefited from writing the reflective Work Experience final essay in Spring 2014. 84% of the registered WKEX 805, 806, 807 students received a grade of Pass in Spring 2014 (including a satisfactory review from their supervisors). 38/45 = 84% |
Planned Improvements | Based on the student feedback shared on the Work Experience self-assessment/satisfaction survey, the length required for the final essay in Fall 2014 will be determined by the number of units for which a student registers in the new WKEX 777 class (a variable-unit class for 1 to 6 units). |
