Improvement Details

DetailsAn important component of the course is for students to bring and contribute news stories relating to the subject matter. All students are encouraged to bring stories, in the past the majority of contribution was from a minority of students. Starting with this offering stories were required from each student on a 3 week rotational basis. This lead to far more varied participation and improved performance.

Assessment Methods

MethodsThe results of the take home midterm and final project evaluate the students understanding of all of the student learning outcomes as well as the required student participation in providing news stories.
