Electronic Medical Record data

Assessment DescriptionCollection of data from our Electronic Medical Records (EMR)/Appointment Scheduler System from 2007-2012 for analysis of direct patient care time provided by each Student Health Services (SHS) faculty provider was done.

Productivity was analyzed by clinician time spent in direct care, number of clients seen over a one hour period; the number of clients seen in relation to salary of provider to analyze cost of delivery of service per client by provider.
OutcomesWe looked at how to improve efficiency to increase productivity on an individual and group basis.Associate Dean Sunny Clark met with all individual providers assessed to discuss their data.
