Assessment DescriptionPre and post questionnaire were distributed to students measuring their level of highest educational level prior to CCSF, number of semester student have been enrolled at CCSF, how many units they are enrolled in the semester, and the status of work or if the student works.
OutcomesThe questionnaire measured student level of education, number of semesters they have attended CCSF, and number of units students are enrolled during the semester. The program assessed if the student educational goal is current and applicable..

Data SummaryThe students were assessed during initial service meeting to conduct initial service; establish an educational plan, and assess the level of their highest educational level received prior to entering the Guardian Scholars program.
Data AnalysisGuardian Scholars plans to include a section that covers the purpose of the educational plan and the importance of establishing an educational goal to improve student persistency rate. Many of the students have limited knowledge of what classes are required to complete their educational goal.
Next Steps Planned

Guardian Scholars plans to modify student counseling session and student enrollment based on the student working status in order to maintain student satisfactory academic progress.

The program plans to inform student of services of the program, increase awareness, improve student participation and educational persistency rate.

Counselors will make the intentional effort to ensure each student has a clear understanding of the purpose of the educational plan and identifying an educational goal, as well as the effect of satisfactory academic progress (SAP) in financial aid eligibility.
