Assessment Description | During the Spring semester 2013 Broadcast Electronic Media Art (BEMA) students were surveyed about Broadcast Media Services staff and professional career skills modeled there. 98% of the 65 respondents reported that they saw good examples of professionalism in the staff of BEMA. Data Summary | 98% of the 65 respondents reported that they saw good examples of professionalism in the staff of BEMA. Five of those surveyed did not answer this question. Additionally, respondents were given the opportunity to comment and these comments were overwhelmingly positive regarding the level of professionalism among BMS staff. |

Next Steps Planned | At our August 2013 Flex meeting, and at a separate meeting with BMS staff and faculty , it was determined that due to the success of the first assessment, we should now delve into a different Service Outcome. Thoughts included assessing Outcome #4 - 4. Maintain college wide collaboration and communication via enhanced access to professional development and college events. |

Broadcast Media Services are on a regular cycle of review. Currently at step 5, the first cycle has been assessed and the Loop is closed. Assessment is ongoing and the next assessment stage will take place in Spring ’14.
