Tentative Future Assessment Plans

Assessment TermFall 2013
Assessment Activities

Assessment (measurement) of outcomes

Assessment DetailsEach instructor in the Physics 4 series labs and lectures will classify their own exam problems as pertaining to each PSLO and keep track of exam results. Data will be collected and we will assess whether every PSLO is adequately assessed on exams, and how the students did.

ILO Alignment and Assessment Plans

I.A. Use reason and creativity...Apply the principles of mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, waves, optics, and modern physics to theoretical problems as well as to experimental applications.

Demonstrate laboratory skills including how to take and analyze data, keep an organized lab book, and write a lab report.

Apply mathematics through multivariable calculus to solve physics problems.
I.B. Apply diverse viewpoints...No answer
I.C. Locate, retrieve, and evaluate information...No answer
Fall 2013 ILO Assessment PlansYes we plan to assess one of the above-mapped SLOs in Fall 2013.
