  • Phone
  • Shared document files
Data Summary90% of students gave correct responses to 75% of the post test survey.
Data AnalysisA majority of our students achieved outcomes when they answered 75% of the questions correctly.
Next Steps Planned

We tested administering the post test surveys online with one section. We may continue this, but will also evaluate the quality of online responses to the essay questions in the post tests. We plan to electronically tally scores of the online post tests. We project to do this within the next school year.

Learning Outcomes

ALL SLO(s) in PHST 30 sections.

Tentative Future Assessment Plans

Assessment TermFall 2013
Assessment Activities
  • Revision of outcomes and assessment methods (measurements)
  • Assessment (measurement) of outcomes
  • Analysis and discussion of assessment data and next steps
  • Implementation of planned changes and reassessment
Assessment DetailsWe will refine the pre and post tests in PHST 30 classes plus try online assessment with at least one (1) section. We will continue the end of course interview with students in PHST 10 feasible because of small class size.

We still have to initiate assessment with PHST 20 since it was not offered in the a previous semester, and the current emergency faculty's term ended.
