Data Summary84-98% of students in various sections successfully explained the factors that shape health, with an emphasis on the social determinants of Health

62-81% of students who completed the assignment successfully demonstrated that they could interpret research findings and analyze data;

81% of students in the online sections (wasn't assigned in person sections) successfully demonstrated that they could propose strategies to improve public health
Data AnalysisOur criteria for achieving success is that at least 80% of students score at least 80% or higher on a particular item in an exam or quiz or on a rubric is an assignment
Next Steps Planned
  • There is some discrepancy between the in person and online results. I will follow up with instructors to address what is causing these inconsistencies. Also
  • I will be reaching out to other departments, including Biological Sciences, to assess how the Biology 9 SLOs meet the outcomes of the major and to Child Development to determine how they assess transfer from their program.
