Assessment Description | In addition to the above, 18 employer partner agencies completed and submitted evaluations on student performance addressing core competencies required for certificate program and as part of the program PLOs. Focus groups were also conducted with more than 14 different public health and social service agencies to assess how students were implementing the PLOs in the workforce. Faculty participated in a retreat to discuss, review and develop rubrics to better align with program PLOs. Finally, health 60 and 62 were unified into Health 201 and health 61 and 63 were unified into health 202, with new course outlines submitted and approved by curriculum committee in Fall 2012 and Spring 2012. Met with faculty to discuss, revise and develop rubrics and assignments to better align with PLOs |

Data Summary | Employer evaluation of student: 100% received 95% or higher on their evaluations. All PLOs received a score within the range of 90%. Employers provided input on core competencies aligned to PLOs and level of preparedness for employment in the field. Based on employer feedback, performance based examination has been revised to align with new SLOs. |
