Assessment DescriptionStudents in the degree program earn the Clerk I, Clerk II, Coding Specialist, and HIT Certificate as they progress towards the Associates Degree in Health Information Technology.

They complete various projects, group work, coding exercises, and complete two different work experience rotations. They are provided certification exam review practice, complete self-assessments based on they work experience, and a final project designed for their professional practice.

Data Summary14 students completed the Degree in Health Information Technology. Students are required to complete all classes with a C or higher. Students earning the degree must also complete all general requirements with a C or higher.
Data Analysis14 students are eligible to sit for the RHIT and CCA examinations. They are also eligible to transfers to a Bachelor's program to earn a RHIA credential.
