Data Summary | The quality of typographic work in some portfolios was poor. Problems with color and image quality were noted in some portfolios. Portfolios did not reflect the range of projects representative of contemporary design practice (not enough interactive work). |
Data Analysis | Students achieved an acceptable level of achievement if they scored a 3 or 4 in each area of the rubric. |
Next Steps Planned | The Web Design and Graphic certificate was revised in Spring 2013, and the findings of the PSLO assessment supported the changes made in the certificate. |

Assessment Details | We overhauled almost all of our certificate programs in Spring 2013, revising and restructuring them as more modular, stackable programs. We will reassess PSLOs for these new certificates in Spring 2014. We plan to modify our assessment strategy to better capture data on the PSLOs. |
