Assessment DescriptionWe used written tests for grammar, dictation tests for listening, and recorded dialogues and readings for conversation. We also used oral proficiency interviews for assessment of general communicative ability.

Data Summary90% of students passed the written tests, oral proficiency, reading, and listening tests with achievement scores of 75% and more.
Data AnalysisAnalyzed the written tests, as well as, the digital recordings of the oral proficiency tests. Majority of students achieved scores of 75% or higher in all the above tests.
Next Steps Planned

We plan to run a second cycle of the same assessments and review these at the end of the Fall 2013 term. We will then analyze if the assessments need revisions or improvements.
