Data SummaryIt is important to note that certificates build on one another. The Excel Specialist Certificate requires The Excel Basics Certificates which seeds our large Accounting Assistant Certificate program. Successful completion of all courses with a passing grade of "C" or better is required. Program outcomes for Fall 12 / Spring 12 are as follows:

1. Excel Basics Certificate 45-90 Hours

(N=25) students attained an (7 Spring 13 |18 Fall 12)

2. Excel Specialist Certificate 135-180 Hours

(N=8) students attained an (3 Spring 13 | 5 Fall 12)

3. Accounting Assistant Certificate 614-645 Hours

(N=12) students attained an (6 Spring 13 | 6 Fall 2012)
Data AnalysisThere is a delay of almost 2 months on program certificate completions. We anticipate completions rates higher. The goal is to plant seeds in the value of starting slow so as to be prepared to take on 614-646 Hours of in class work. Excel Basics and Excel Specialist lend embedding students in our financial aid eligible and EDD recognized program certificates.
