Assessment DescriptionThe assessment involves a 4 question pre and post questionnaire that assesses the required steps towards job readiness. The questions are as follows:

1) How comfortable are you with speaking to your work experience and qualifications?

2) How confident are you with identifying types of interview questions and styles?

3) How comfortable are you with creating a resume and cover letter?

4) How comfortable are you with creating a thank you letter?
Learning OutcomesAfter participating in the Spring 2013 semester Career Plan and individual career counseling session, students appeared to be more confident at completing one of the recommended steps towards career success.

Data SummaryOut of the 31 students that completed the assessment, 15% were confident with completing the recommended steps towards career success.
Data AnalysisAfter tabulating and analyzing the pre assessment, 15% of the participants were confident with completing the steps towards careers success and 85% were not. After completing the recommended steps towards career success, a post assessment will be distributed at a later date.
Next Steps Planned

A Career Plan has been created and will be implemeted Fall 2013 to assist with guiding students towards career success.

Learning Outcomes

After participating in the Fall 2013 Career Plan and individual career counseling session, students will receive the necessary support services to complete the recommended steps towards career success.
