Data SummaryThe majority of students ranked the 3 slos that we chose to focus on as their highest rankings; in our observations of and interactions with the students, we found that many were not clear about how to identify standards of high quality child care in selecting appropriate child care and preschools for their children.
Analysis SummaryThe students demonstrate a keen interest and motivation in learning the 3 slos that we have chosen. However, the students need more information and guidance in selecting appropriate child care and preschools.
Next Steps PlannedFind out more about what the students know, want to know and need to know about selecting child care/preschool through revising the survey to include more specific questions about this slo; pose specific questions about this slo in the class journal; initiate individual and small group discussions about this slo.
