Assessment Methods
  • Analysis of exam, quiz, or homework items linked to specific SLOs
  • Student self-assessments (such as reflective journals and surveys)
  • Capstone projects or final summative assignments
Assessment DescriptionStudents were assessed at the mid-term period. They were asked to reflect on pass assignments and analyze their progress based on their understanding of key points of the course.

For the final assessment, students completed a final report that was combined knowledge of not only the entire course, but also of the last four chapters studied, For example, in the first chapter of the final four, students selected a topic about which they gather some data. In each assignment after that chapter, students used the same topic and added to it.
