Direct observation of performances, practical exams, group work

Assessment DescriptionObserved students editing document layout, text, punctuation, grammar and spelling in a sample letter. Observed and reviewed a five-sentence paragraph written by students on the student's computer screen. In a follow-up to each lesson, assessed the need to review the previous lesson at the beginning of each class.
Learning OutcomesBy the end of the semester, students will be able to: Demonstrate the ability to create documents and navigate Microsoft Word.

More DetailsI will prepare guides showing what correct documents should look like and will review each student's work and will keep a tally of that data and at the end of the section will assess progress through a written assignment.
