- Direct observation of performances, practical exams, group work
|

Data Summary | Students did somewhat better on the online case studies after participating in the groups and class discussion. However, it was found that more work was needed in this area. |
---|
Analysis Summary | There was improvement in the accuracy of the code assignments, but students still struggled with code sequencing. More work is needed in this area. |
---|
Next Steps Planned | Case study group work needs to be introduced earlier in the course for it to be affective. |
---|
Learning Outcomes | same as above |
---|
Changes
Details | Students form groups to discuss and assign codes to case studies. |
---|
Learning Outcomes | same as above |

Tentative Future Plans
Term | Fall 2013 |
---|
Activities | Revision of outcomes and assessment methods (measurements) |
---|
More Details | Since we will be going to a new coding system starting in Fall 2013, case studies will be introduced to students earlier in the semester to see if the coding and sequencing improves. |
