b. Explain the concepts of pegboard bookkeeping and post charges, payments, and adjustments to patient ledger cards, daily journal, and monthly summary

c. Calculate collection, adjustments, and accounts receivable ratios

d. Explain and complete accounts payable activities to include check writing, maintaining a checkbook, balance an expense journal, and rectify a bank statement.

e. Create and maintain a petty cash account

f. Calculate federal and state tax deductions and maintain a payroll record

Additional Highlights

The students really appreciated having the PowerPoint lectures for the financial unit online to review. It gave them an opportunity to review the lecture with their completed assignments. It provided more continuity, but also helped the students who were absent from class catch up.
