Data SummaryThe majority of students were able to identify and correct sentence mistakes such as run-ons and fragments, common punctuation mistakes, and identify key parts of speech in sample sentences. The majority of students were able to complete an in-class writing quiz with a minimum of the above-listed errors.
Analysis SummaryThe majority of students improved in their ability to identify (and avoid) the above-listed errors in their writing.
Next Steps PlannedStudents need as much practice and feedback as possible. Regular writing assignments and additional in-class practice exercises were added.
