POLS 45 - Government and POlitics of the Middle east - Stage 2 - Schubert

Assessment

Assessment Methods
  • Analysis of exam, quiz, or homework items linked to specific SLOs
  • Student self-assessments (such as reflective journals and surveys)
  • Pre & post surveys or tests
Assessment DescriptionWe conducted a pre-and post- survey in each section. The survey included both knowledge and attitudinal elements, based on course MLOs. The survey was administered the start of the semester in the second week and again at the end of the semester in the last full week.

The results will then be compared to assess knowledge and attitudinal change. A positive change in assessment value would indicate a positive learning outcome result.
