Assessment

Assessment Methods
  • Analysis of exam, quiz, or homework items linked to specific SLOs

In addition, instructor assigned an end-of-chapter assessment project that was uploaded for instructor grading/assessing.

Midterm testing consisted of theory and production tests covering first half of the semester's material and final testing covering the second half of the semester's material.

Activities
  • Revision of outcomes and assessment methods (measurements)
  • Implementation of planned changes and reassessment
  • Draft new course objectives (SLOs) for course outline revision
More DetailsThe department may move to the newest Microsoft Office version (2013) for Spring 2014. If so, we hope to revise content and objectives (or at least begin to draft something) that can be used in developing a more current course outline of record.
