Data SummaryMany of the students did very well in determining the main purpose of Magellan's expedition, and in pinpointing the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines, the students needed to do better on learning about other aspects of Spanish relations with the Philippines.
Analysis SummaryIf 75% of my students answered the questions in the post-survey correctly, I felt that they had achieved outcome.
Next Steps PlannedThis course is not being taught during the fall, 2013 semester. If it were being taught, I would emphasize certain aspects of Spanish rule in the Philippines more to ensure that the students understood the implications of Spanish governance completely.
