Assessment Description | Quizzes: Analyzing questions pertaining to consumer perspectives of the hospitality industry. The questions below are in multiple forms. Some were done in group work and discussed in depth before presenting in front of the class. Such as: What are 2 of the internal and 2 of the external influences on consumer purchases? (short answer) Which of the following is the first potential gap in service quality process? (multiple choice) Provide an example of how a hospitality professional might rectify a negative experience a consumer is having. State the service gap and why you chose to approach the situation from this perspective. (critical thinking) In-class assignments: Group work done bi-weekly to practice non-verbal skills, "reading" people and how one influences perspectives. |
