Assessment DescriptionGroups were elected randomly 11 times during the semester, each time dealing with themes connected with one of the major topics of the course, and were scored on their abilities to interact with the group on the basis of the current topic.

Data Summary83% of the students surpassed the 70% goal on the the measurement of the SLO criteria.
Analysis SummaryEach student's performance was scored, based on appropriate understanding of the items analyzing SLOs, on a scale of zero to 20 per group session. For example, the score was dependent on an appropriate understanding and ability to communicate an application of the topic in social psychology currently under study.

DetailsI experimented by lightening up on all my presentations.
Learning OutcomesThere was no basis for comparison, because spring 2013 was the first semester of SLO assessments for Soc 30, but I believe that the change would have served an improvement in the scores.
