Analysis Summary | SLO – Demonstrate an understanding of terms and processes used in the industry. Additional class time was spent with a discussion of how to respond to this question, but did not result in an increase of successful responses. This may be a result of the changing direction of our department from Graphic Communications to Visual Media Design. The understanding of concepts in the current GRPH-27 curriculum is being addressed with the rewriting of the curriculum and new SLO’s. SLO – Perform simple finishing exercises for completing work. 77.78% of the students in the morning section 9:00 to 12:00 noon and 84.62% in the evening section 6:00 to 9:00 were successful in completion and turning in a finished sample. This was an improvement from the Fall 2012 results of 80% and 56.25% found in the successful completion of this exercise. Additional emphasis of completing the assignment resulted in the achievement of this SLO. |
