Assessment Description | Means: Students will be tested on the rules, safety guidelines utilized in the Physical Education course. Criteria: 90% of students will indicate that they received safety instructions for the activity Means: Students will be tested on the knowledge of swimming through an exit survey. Criteria: 80% of students will indicate that they learned knowledge of swimming Means: Students will take post-test, consists of 100 yards swimming freestyle. Checklist evaluation on proper basic swimming skills. Criteria: 80% of students will successfully complete the swim and score satisfactory or excellent in checklist evaluation of proper basic swimming skills. |

Data Summary | 100% of students in the class indicated that they received safety instructions for the activity in exit survey. 100% of students in the class indicated that the class added to their knowledge of health and wellness in exit survey. 95% of students successfully completed the designated post-test; 98% scored in range of satisfactory or excellent range for streamline push-off skill and 97% scored in range of satisfactory or excellent range for skills evaluation of freestyle stroke technique. |
