Assessment DescriptionMeans: Students will be tested on the rules, safety guidelines utilized in the Physical Education course.

Criteria: 90% of students must score 90% or better

Means: Students will be tested on the knowledge of advanced swimming through an exit survey.

Criteria: 80% of students must score 80% or better

Means: Students will take a pre- and post-test, consists of 100 yards swimming freestyle and post-test stroke technique evaluation in backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

Criteria: 60% of students will show 5% improvement.

Data Summary99% of students received clear safety instructions for swimming based on exit survey.

Students in the class scored 97% on exit survey question.

74% of the students showed an improvement of 5% or more and 13% showed slight improvement of less than 5% in swim time. In addition, 87% of students improved in 50 backstroke and 91% improved in 50 breaststroke based on stroke technique evaluation.
