Assessment DescriptionStudent assessments included:

1. Testing student’s basic math functions including: numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percent, using traditional method of calculation and then by demonstrating how the same calculations are made using Microsoft Excel 2010 spreadsheet software application.

2. Testing student’s use of ordinary math using Microsoft Excel 2010 spreadsheets to solve common business calculations used in: banking, payroll, discounts, simple and compound interest, annuities, installment loans and mortgage loans problems, completing eight (8) business math with spreadsheets projects.

3. Observing individual student completing basic math problems and project assignments.

4. Evaluating student attendance and participation.
