More DetailsMeans: Students will take pre-, midterm, and post- test timing the 2-mile mile run.

Criteria: 75% of the students will have decreased their time by a minimum of 90 seconds.

Means: Students will take a pre- and post- test measuring continuous running ability.

Criteria: 75% of students will be able to run continuously for a minimum of 8 minutes during the post-test.

Means: Students will be evaluated by the instructor for demonstration of advanced running techniques incorporating speed work.

Criteria: 75% of students will score 75% or more.

Means: Students will take an oral quiz to identify important factors for a 5K running event and techniques to avoid common injuries.

Criteria: 75% of the students will be able to score 75%.

Means: Students will take an oral test to name 10 major muscle groups.

Criteria: 75% of the students will name at least 8 major muscle groups correctly.
