Assessment DescriptionStudents completed a final project that summarized the content of the course. Each tablet size page included information about cardiac pathology, 2D, M-Mode & Doppler related findings, applied formulas and clinical sign/symptoms. These booklets are used in their clincial assignments in their echocardiography internships and for the preparation at the end of the program for the national registry exams.

Additional Highlights

At the conclusion of the second semester of the four semester CVT / ECHO Program the students were well prepared for their first internships. The evaluations from these internships demonstrated good basics skills, the ability to improve, and a successful interchange with the echo department staffs.
