Assessment

Assessment Methods

Analysis of exam, quiz, or homework items linked to specific SLOs

Assessment DescriptionFive final exam questions were analyzed addressing one SLO. Percentages of successful responses were 60, 90, 90, and 90.

This is a continuation of assessments that began in the Fall 2012 semester with the following percentage results of the same four questions, respectively: 50, 100, 90 and 90.

Though the second question took a drop, the first question is moving in the direction toward optimal correct response of 70. That question was reworded to lessen ambiguity, and the correct rate has improved.
Learning OutcomesSLO A - Demonstrate an understanding of the general perspective, terminology, and theories of cultural anthropology as they relate to the study of LGBT sexuality.
