CAD 180 - intro to technical drawing - Stage 1 - Tom Angeloff

Assessment

Assessment Methods
  • Analysis of exam, quiz, or homework items linked to specific SLOs
  • Student satisfaction surveys
Assessment Description4 quizzes were given. Of these, 3 were repeated (slight changes made,

unannounced). Marked improvement was made. Highest grade was

recorded. For the mid-term, students who did not achieve a grade

of 70 or more were given an opportunity to re-take the exam (slight

changes were made to the original exam). All students oped to re-take.

All did marked better...the highest of the two was recorded.

Before the final exam was given, I verbally asked the students

questions concerning the format of the course, class assignments,

quizzes, mid-term, pace of course and grading scheme to guage

their satisfaction in order to help me with making changes which

may make the course more meaningful to the students.
