Data SummaryThe majority of students were able to consistently apply plate making techniques and proof plates in order to develop their imagery, make improvements to that imagery and print multiple images from the resulting plate.
Analysis SummaryStudents have achieved outcomes if their portfolios reflect responsive image development as evidenced by proofing, plate reworking, reference to critique, and editioning.
Next Steps PlannedFurther clarification through lecture and demonstration of the role that ink consistency and transparency plays in the value range printed and resulting danger in poorly reworking a plate due to poor inking during proofing.
Learning OutcomesOutcomes 3, 4, 5, and 6.
