Data Shared With | - Instructors of the same course (at CCSF)
- Faculty and staff within our department
- Students
|
---|
Data Sharing Methods | Face-to-face meetings |
---|
Data Summary | Approximately 90% of the students constructed realistic, viable dialogues and passed the short final exam averaging about 85%. |
---|
Analysis Summary | When students correctly had examples of specific types of assertive communications and could replicate typical types of rebuffs and negative reactions that they might have to deal with in real life situations, the assumption was that they understood the fundamentals of assertive communication and its difficulties. Over 75% on the exam indicated adequate knowledge of the material. |
---|
Next Steps Planned | Give more explicit definitions and examples of pitfalls that may confront the assertive communicator in real life situations. |
---|
Learning Outcomes | Better dialogues. |
---|
Changes
