Face-to-face meetings

Data SummaryApproximately 90% of the students constructed realistic, viable dialogues and passed the short final exam averaging about 85%.
Analysis SummaryWhen students correctly had examples of specific types of assertive communications and could replicate typical types of rebuffs and negative reactions that they might have to deal with in real life situations, the assumption was that they understood the fundamentals of assertive communication and its difficulties. Over 75% on the exam indicated adequate knowledge of the material.
Next Steps PlannedGive more explicit definitions and examples of pitfalls that may confront the assertive communicator in real life situations.
