Assessment DescriptionMeans: Students will identify and perform selected fundamental barre exercises integrating the basic principles of beginning ballet technique.

Criteria: On a scale of 1-2-3 (l being the lowest and 3 being the highest) 75% of the students will average a 2 or better.

Means: Students will perform 2 beginning level center combinations with correct technique and musicality.

Criteria: On a scale of 1-2-3 (l being the lowest and 3 being the highest) 75% of the students will average a 2 or better.

Means: A written exam on theory and technique that also includes terminology.

Criteria: 75% of the students will pass the written exam.
