Student satisfaction surveys

Assessment DescriptionStudents were given a satisfaction survey in which they were asked to rate their knowledge of the chosen SLO to be evaluated.

They were asked to rate themselves based on a 1 to 5 scale. Below are each of the values assigned to each number.

1=no prior knowledge, 2=very little knowledge, 3=some knowledge, 4=very good knowledge, 5=excellent knowledge.

Data SummaryIn the pre-survey students 88% of students answers ranged between no prior knowledge to some knowledge. In the post-survey 82% of students answered that they had now a level of very good knowledge to excellent knowledge of the SLO.
Analysis SummaryThe expected achievement of this SLO was placed at 80% In the post-survey 82% of the students achieved the desired goal. Therefore, the student learning outcome was successfully achieved.
