Assessment DescriptionTwo sections were taught, each by a different instructor. Common weekly lab reports, quizzes and four summative assessments (exams) were given. The questions are linked to course SLO's and include tasks such as identifying rocks and minerals and their formation environments as well as reading topographic and geologic maps and synthesizing data from various sources to produce a reasonable explanation of the geologic history of an area.
