Assessment Description | We fully implemented the recorded Oral Proficiency Interviews for two sections. We updated the exams and homework items related to specific SLOs. We also aligned our SLOs to the ACTFL language norms, and the newly developed(2012) Filipino Language Learning Framework. |

Data Summary | 70 to 80% of the students answered 4 our of the 5 questions used in the Oral Proficiency Interviews. The majority of the students passed the written tests and final exams. |

Analysis Summary | In the Oral Proficiency Interviews, students had to answer 4 of the 5 questions correctly. Achievement of 75% correct answers in the written tests and final exams measured outcomes achievement. |

Next Steps Planned | Based on the analyzed assessments, we plan to improve or revise the written tests portion of the assessments. The Oral Proficiency Interviews will be augmented by a written list of the questions to direct students to the targeted responses, and also to assess reading comprehension. |

Additional Highlights
A rigorous implementation of the oral interviews supported by digital recording and a paper form to record the teacher's evaluations ensure tow better and more thorough assessment. The digital and paper records also ensure readily available empirical data to measure achievement.
